The Sounding Board welcomes back The Portables to our stage - celebrating their 50th year as a band! Proceeds from this concert will benefit the Connecticut Sea Music Festival. Audience favorite The Portable Folk Music Festival (affectionately known as "The Portables") represent the house band of the Sounding Board Coffeehouse, performing countless times on our stages since the founding days in the early 1970s. Brace yourself for a stage full of talented singers and instrumentalists who present traditional folk and acoustic music from the American songbook.
